For the past month, I have been having issues with my pc. It would occasionally blue screen and upon reboot, I would have to manually select the boot device. After seeking professional help, the technician informed me that hindered air flow in the case lead to my video card overheating. This damaged the card as well as the control that managed communication between my hard drive and motherboard.

As I turn the machine on and off, The heating and cooling will eventually destroy this component altogether and i will inevitably need to buy an entirely new computer. They cleaned my pc of any dust, removed any malware it accumulated, dumped the ruined video card (leaving only the original card that came with the system), and arranged all wires in a way to maximize airflow as much as possible.

I intend to purchase a new computer within this holiday season (likely mid December), but until then, the computer I have can not run any game that renders in 3D at a playable frame rate. I can still watch Youtube and play a few less graphic-intensive games (like FTL), and I will keep in touch with NNG over the forums and twitch.

I'll see you all in-game again eventually, but for now I guess this is my chance to put more time into my life outside the internet.

I'm finally leaving the vault. :D

I already have an estimate with someone for what i'm looking for within $1500. I'll be ordering it from them after I've finished renovating my house.

I do appreciate the offer though.

Since your PC is in hospice...

Maybe if we get someone to come over to you residence with one of those dogs that they let people pet to help console them it'll make you feel better.
