    Oceanic servers would be laggy for players in NA because they're located in Australia. PvP is the good part. :D

    It's just unofficially an Oceanic server. Meaning that if you want to play with other Aussies, etc., sign on there. I don`t think the actual servers are in AU/NZ.

    I have no issues with it being the unofficial oceanic server. This means nothing to me other than more people to bloody my swo- er. Enter into transactions with.

    In short, yes I will be trying it.

    That is correct, I have been playing the Alpha/Beta for the past month or so. ArcheAge is a PVP focused game. You don't have to participate in PVP to progress in the game but there are certain areas where you are automatically flagged for PVP with the other "faction" (east vs west) AND much of the endgame activity revolves around PVPing or at the very least defending yourself against other players that will try to steal your ship/trade pack/dignity. On top of that you can also PVP against members of your own faction (pirates or enemies of all) if they repeatedly break the law.

    Every server is a PvP server but I'll try to find time to talk to the other leads this evening and see if everyone still has the green light for tomorrow.

    Both of those links, plus my own investigation has shown we are not on either of the unofficial Oceanic Servers. We are on Aranzeb. We aren't on Kyrios nor are we on Ollo. ;)

    Also all the NA servers are located in Dallas TX.
