    it's locked 2v2 to start with. There's talk that players will eventually be able to form neutral factions. (And I suppose that the pirate faction is already effectively all-races, since they're hostile to both factions and there's only one island.

    So if you wanted to have a group of all four races I guess the short-term solution is to commit so many crimes your home faction kicks you out.

    Yes, that is a thing that can happen.

    Well, you not only have to commit the crimes you also have to be found guilty.

    All races can play together if you become a pirate, which means after you have broken the law and been found guilty (yes there are trials with players as jurors) a number of times you will be flagged as "hostile" to everyone. You can form guilds and run around ganking/trolling anyone and everyone with the expectation that they will be trying to do the same to you.

    At the start everyone is segregated on either the West or East continents. As you progress you can venture to the "main" continent in the north where it is pretty much a free for all (this is the main area for building/conquering/etc at high levels). I suppose it is possible to work together with, or at least around, the other 2 factions but this will obviously be difficult.

    A couple people were on there for beta, but since everything is wiped for live anyway it looks like we will be setting up on Aranzeb

    Really enjoying Archeage. Total noob, but I plan on grinding the care bear shit out as fast as I can and moving straight into PVP and mind games with carebear bitches.

    I think it'd be real badass if we set up trades with other people, then pirated the ships en-route. Or something like that... some Enron level shit :)

    Maybe even have like a secret alt-guild to facilitate it have a pirate guild and "legitimate front" guilds on the regular conts?

    I watched some WPVP videos, it's seems that the character movement is little clunky.
    Can't wait till Tuesday tho to check it out.
