Holy shit, sniping is fun

Quick scoping is a little difficult, I'm not sure if I've just figured out how it works or just crazy.. But I'm pretty sure that when you scope in, your cross-hairs will always be dead center of the screen so you've just got to learn where center is. Now I don't do much of the long range stuff, I'm aggressive and use my Ghost at short to medium with a 4x scope and this could be a factor as its quicker to scope in and there's no sway. I'll probably try mostly long range tonight.

Mmhmm I had figured out the centered crosshair thing. I even attempted to put a (removable) mark in the center of my screen to help me practice it but the mark was so faint you couldn't really see it. Years and years ago, a bunch of my friends used to stick spit wads and little pieces of chewed gum in the middle of their TV while playing games like COD, that's where I got the idea.

darkelfdruid has a video of him quick scoping with his HUD turned off.... the guy is freakin ridiculous!!! Yea I'm sure it helps some using a 4X scope, however it's like I had said before if you can get your shot lined up fast enough you can land accurate shots on distant targets even with a 12X scope without holding your breath. There's a brief moment when you first scope in that your scope does not sway, or sways so little it doesn't make much of a difference.

I wonder if holding your breath while quick scoping helps? Even if it's just a quick little tap right as you scope in.

Back on topic, if you want to see some good trick-shots, my favorite from earlier in this game's life was a guy on connery named WalterWhite. I did a little digging and found one of his better vids. Like me, he used a suppressor most of the time. I've slowly gone back to sniping unsuppressed, mostly because fights are smaller and less crowded than they used to be. Anyways, enjoy this classic gem.

Now that I've watched it I don't think it is the video I was talking about, but the same guy. The one I saw had more flash driver head shots. He posted in the comments about his number 3 montage but it was unavailable to me for some reason.

My highlight from our TR squad tonight, when we were fighting in the open field between Quartz Ridge and Hvar Northgate. There were a lot of infiltrators trying to jump us so I was fighting them with my commissioner. Most of the sniper kills were within 50-80 meters. I got a quickscope on a guy that was running straight at me at point blank range. I think it was one of these kills. Then I shot a burning reaver down with my commissioner
