Imperial or Metric?

    Which measurement do you all prefer?

    I personally set everything to Imperial (let the hate begin), didn't really get taught metric very well where I went to school, just easier for me.

    But on topic. I use metric (edited because icebalm pointed out spelling error)smaller units, more precise.
    I study engineering so I like metric for math.
    If they start throwing imperial units into the mix I have to go off and start converting, which is effort.

    IRL I prefer mph to kph when it comes to speed of vehicles, but not in math questions.

    sorry. I was just back from hanging around with some friends who insisted that consoles had better graphics than pc. Something must have rubbed off. You understood what I really meant. I edited it now

    I prefer Metric for height and distance but Imperial for speed and weight. I want to use Metric for temperature but no one here fucking uses it and so saying its 3* out makes people go into full stupid mode and I honestly don't need to deal with full stupid mode. Regular stupid mode is enough. That and no one knows how to convert the two. Which boggles my fucking mind.

    If you're not used to the metric system, once you remember that one meter is ~ one yard it makes using metric a shit ton easier. Mainly because you're still using the imperial system you're used to, just measuring everything in yards rather than bullshit feet.

    And @CrazyKillerCat That is the ENTIRE reason why I hate imperial. EVERYTHING is waaayyyyy to god damn arbitrary and it is absolutely retarded.
