I need time to think about this, so I'll be back with a reply.

I just hope it won't come out as bitching. It's how I've been feeling about this lately.

Ghost, you know my feelings. To avoid conflict I will leave it at that.

With some people, the salt is real. I love how people will bitch and complain about things they don't like but then will never do a damned thing about it, other than just bitch and complain. Why take up responsibility or act accordingly when you can just blame others, amirite? I would like to change my vote from a 10 to a 9, just on the basis that some people that are still here need to go somewhere else, they are literally holding the community back from flourishing and progressing, while being stuck up on some idealistic conservative value that they "thought" NNG was "supposed" to be.

I'm a big fan of this community, it's got some great people in it and the games I'm playing right now is because people from this community are playing them. but, i don't think everything is all rosy here either.

I think we have some problems and i think some people will have to get butt hurt to fix them.
not going to point fingers but i'm going to point out a few things I've noticed here over the last few months

    - I think a few have gotten a little to big for their breeches, and overstepped a few times.

    - We have a "too many chiefs and not enough Indians" problem. We have way too many moderators and admins for the number of people we have in TS and on the forums these days. And it gives too much of the impression of a buddy system or cliche.

    - We have too many, too diverse players for the NNG Division system to stand up anymore. I don't believe we need a new division every time a new game comes out that a lot of us want to play (i'm not sure we need Divisions at all any more). Adding new divisions and new officers and admins is just an easy way to get to my previous stated problem, with the amount of officers and admins we have now i'm pretty sure that any big game that comes out we would already have someone that can take up the "Lead" role in the game.

That's about all I can think of right now, I may have more later.

We have some problems but this is still a great place for like minded people to get together, talk about, and play games.

wow.. seriously dude.. i seem to recall some of those members you are having this issue with sent you to SOE, worked with you when you wanted to do a PS2 program and backed you up whenever they could but wow.. for you to state that
" just on the basis that some people that are still here need to go somewhere else, they are literally holding the community back from flourishing and progressing, while being stuck up on some idealistic conservative value that they "thought" NNG was "supposed" to be."

    I am speechless

you ask why i dont show up.. simply stated NNG isnt what it used to be.
having some moron kick me out of Ts simply because he didnt like my name.. that was cute, having someone tell me, a long standing member that my opinions or thoughts didnt matter because they dont jive with the new plan and seeing as i wasnt an officer, bounced me from Ts again, watching the origins of this group that ghost started get slammed as well?

YOU TELL ME WHY I DONT SHOW

Virus goes way back Jaamaw. Both of you do. How are each of you so out of sync in what NNG should be? I think Virus' point about how things aren't what they used to be are not only that of Virus. The point is shared by quite a few. Quite a few who've left. What is different about how I ran NNG and how it is being run now?

Has anyone asked that question and gotten a good answer?

@Nraged I'm somewhat confused by your vote. A 10 would mean there is nothing NNG could do to be better. That everything is running optimally. That the plane could run on auto pilot significant players stepped away for weeks at a time. I also don't feel that your vote echoes the sentiment that you've portrayed in recent months on NNG, NNGC and people leaving etc. I value your opinion very much because I find that you're very blunt, which I like, but could you elaborate a bit further or help me understand?

I put down 7-8/10. I had taken a split from the community as many know when I felt PS2 was in a rough spot. Then AA came out and I took a look at it. I was like, if mustarde is playing an mmorpg like this instead of PS2 it must be decent. So after a month away I came back and have been sucked right back in. Realized how much the Community still meant to me and was able to eventually rejoin it. Since then things seem great for this potential new avenue for NNG. I avoid putting a 10/10 because we can always find ways to make it better. Additionally I am sure there are frustrations or worries from diehard players in other divisions so I may be looking too selfishly to say 10/10. I would encourage those that are understandably apprehensive to follow the players here and try new things. I used to be with a group where the FOTM Game changed yearly yet everyone migrated about with one another bc it was more about the ppl than the game. I get that same vibe as I changed from PS2 to Archeage - tooootally different game, but same ppl, so very enjoyable.
