It is with regret that I inform all you guys that NNG has withdrawn from Server Smash. Apparently, even with having top players and hitting well above our weight in every Server Smash we've played in, we are not looked upon as an asset to the Emerald team. This coupled with waning interest from our players has led us to the decision to withdraw. I know some of you were really looking forward to playing in the upcoming matches, as was I, but I believe this decision is ultimately best for NNG. We may re-evaluate this decision when/if there is interest in the next Server Smash season.
Thank you guys for all your hard work, but the decision was not made lightly. We fought hard, like friendship ending, John Cena level fighting for slots in this next smash only to wonder if we could even fill them. After it occurred to me that a lot of people in the emerald organization don't actually care about our effort and skill to the point of forgetting or not paying attention to how well we did in every smash we participated in that I decided to step back and question if it was worth giving them our best. And it's not, they proved that to me quite well. A lot of people showed me thier true colors and a couple of people I thought were friends turned out to not be. Just be careful out there folks. If you want to talk about it, ice and I are available during our normal times. I'm considering playing for connery next season.
