    Meant to post this a while back but only uploaded pics from my phone now.

    This is my dog Sassie (I was a big fan of homeward bound movies as a kid)

    She's about 10 now I believe. Got her on a weekend away for a sports match. She's a golden retriever and we bought her from a breeder who sold dogs to the guidedog association. In the future though I'll probably adopt a rescue when she has passed on. She is difficult to take pictures of as she doesn't like looking directly at you for too long. I had to keep petting here just to stop her head from moving long enough to take a pic.

    She was a handful as a pup as she loved escaping her house. When she was small she had a large rabbit hutch in the garage as her house (6x3x3 abouts) and everynight she would escape and we would have to catch her in the morning. We had bigger dogs in the doghouse because she was only a few weeks old and tiny when we got her and we live in the country so she was in the safest place. Then she started getting bite-y when her teeth came in once she chased my younger cousin onto a two foot block of cement and we found her jumping up and nipping at his shoes.

    She has calmed down since then and doesn't try to escape. She lives in the doghouse now and has a large area to run in. We don't let her out free around the house because there are too many escape routes and we live near farmers with crops and livestock and a busy road.

    She didn't grow fully for some reason so she is only about as high as my knee so she'll look a bit like a pup for the rest of her life so she'll always have that cuteness.
    My favourite part of being home is getting to spend time with her and she enjoys taking walks with me and is the best behaved around me.

    So that's my pet!

    Is it just me or did all pics pre-forum update break? I assume server got wiped so they were deleted

    A cat (Maggie) a yellow lab who is an amazing natural bird dog--and I do mean amazing...though getting slower in her old age (Molly), three fish (Titus, Orangie, Lilly...named by my three oldest kids), and a slew of crickets that have mercifully died off to the last one. Love the furred pets. Mostly get sick of cleaning the tanks of the fish and last remaining cricket. Just waiting for enough money for the 55 gallon fish tank that will be filled with cichlids.

    Some work for me but most re broken. I don't know what everyone else used but Jaam and I both used imgur and ours still shows
