Ok The poll Above is to determine the best Day to be hosting this. Also This would have to later in the evening 7 EST or Later.

What I am looking from you guys are When is it best to hold this and what are somethings you are interested outside of standard platoon practices.

The idea is to have some advanced mechanics around some aspect we cover each week on top of our basics so help players start learning more things and begin attaining a better understanding of how the whole game is played.

    Things like:

    How to bunny Hop (correctly)
    How to Ghost strafe
How to reverse pull in a ESF
EXT EXT just things you guys are interested for us to inform about.

It can even be as simple as the difference between a NMG and Resist shield.

Faking out the client prediction in order to have your enemy shooting at a fake image of your character when you are infact in a different position entirly.

    A alternative to bunny hoping.

And yes our guys should learn every advantage to CQC, if they know how it works they know how to beat it ;P

I have to agree, learning them is important to avoid them, teaching them as a mass teamwork tactic however doesn't sound too fun.

Otherwise if you need any help on whatever day you pick let me know.

A few nights ago three of us went into special operations in order to run a bit of stealth recon. The plan was to rob the enemy, take all their nice things, go into random bases and hack all the turrets. This began from the big defense of Eisa Tech plant, which we left after that. We ultimately wound up in Jaegers Crossing, with just 3 of us. After hacking everything we started the cap, and due to the number of class swaps we did the enemy became convinced we had squads down there, so three of us attracted a full armour and air column. Naturally enough we left. We had served our purpose, distracted the enemy and while this happened they lost everything.
(Then for some reason all of our zerg turned up and started fighting, then we all went back there and crushed the line, which really shouldn't have worked but it did).

What I'm offering is in regards to the most recent meeting, is training into how to successfully play as a stealth recon group. It only took 3 people to draw the ire of the republic, so 12 of us could pis everyone off. The point of this training is not learning in how to just play as infiltrator. A recon team that only plays infiltrator is really inflexible. The trick is to know how to counter things appropriately, infiltrators need to be able to swap from class to class as the situation requires. Referring back to the crossing incident random enemy maxes and zerg kept showing up, so hopping between infiltrator, heavy and our own max suits was needed. For the hour or so that we ran we capped everything around our own max suits was needed. For the hour or so that we ran we capped everything around the TR warpgate, took their amp station and caused them to invest everything into Jaegers. While they were there we quickly re-grouped, flew over to the biolab and robbed everything there. the TR warpgate, took their amp station and caused them to invest everything into Jaegers. While they were there we quickly re-grouped, flew over to the biolab and robbed everything there.
This will include situational awareness, appropriate class usage and priority targets in a facility.
This was done by going in and not capping a single point until the SCU was down, this way the hex isn't as obvious to being lost.

So, training as of a Friday/Saturday at 11/12 am PST. (Stupid time zone)
This will include situational awareness, appropriate class usage and priority targets in a facility.
The thread will be expanded in regards to tips, tricks and loadouts as needed.
Feel free to contribute anything ye have on the subject and toss your name in if you're up for this.
