Planetside 2 has in-game recording built into the game. This is awesome because I have yet to experience lag or reduction in play quality while using this recording method compared to using FRAPS or Xstream. The natural hot key is the "Page Down" key to start recording. There is also a set of options under the "Video" tab in social. There are Low, Medium and High settings for resolution and Lowest, Low, Medium, High and Highest for quality. I have found that using the High resolution setting is best; however, the quality should only be set to High and not Highest. While the quality difference is supreme and Highest represents game play in 720p or 1080p, the file sizes are several GB large and unless you have a really nice HDD or SSD you will run out of space very quickly. Not only so but uploading those files to youboob must take FOREVER... anyways here is some High resolution/High quality magrider madness. Tell me what you think.
Ah 360p we meet again. I would think if the settings were as you described that it would at least be 480p. Good stuff though, I know a game that raped I mean raked in millions and doesn't have anything close to this and probably never will.
