Battlefield Premium. Cool or Wtf?

Just an update on the currency thing.

"Someone" proxied to a Brazilian IP and used Chrome to translate the Portuguese Origin Store, which allowed "someone" to purchase Premium for 49.99 in Brazil's currency. The exchange rate put their purchase at right around $25; I don't know if the price is/was a glitch, or they're just charging less in Brazil the way they charge more in other countries. There are a few things to consider though:

1. It may not work anymore
2. The Brazilian store will not allow you to select the US as your country, work around it.
3. The confirmation takes much longer, but the charge seems instant.

So, in conclusion, "someone" would have bought premium for anywhere between $30-$45 as a Limited Edition preorder(er?) or even just paid $20 per expansion for the two week early access for the ones they actually want. However EA DICE only want to play all or nothing, force investment in something about which nothing is known, and give customers who trusted them before the game was released LESS for their money. Not an ounce of guilt. Not even one.
