Christmas Eve Event!?

I'd like to put together a little somethin somethin for those who aren't doing anything on christmas eve. Thinking of doing something that breaks the mold of what we normally play, like a LAN session of an RTS game, halo 1 on pc, something new as a group and interesting. (Through Hamachi)

I wanted to do something thanksgiving too, but I didn't think of it until the day of, so super short notice.

I would love to play an 8x8 vs match of like starcraft, or sins of a solar empire or something. I have halo pc as well. Any other ideas would be appreciated. It would be around 8pm CST, since i work that day for me though. Anyone who would want to start it earlier is welcome to step up.

I would suggest something low demand PC spec wise. This is because some people may be travelling back to their families for the holidays and only have access to something like a laptop instead of their rig. Just something I thought worth considering.

indeed, starcraft, halo pc and the like are all pretty old. Hell, if there are low enough numbers for a diablo 2 run. Something classic!

 

I'd be willing to start a Chivalry or GMOD thing. Great group games.

im going to have to lean on older games, mostly games that I can "acquire easily" I'm so broke it's sad and I don't have Gmod or chivalry.

HALOOOOO!!! I haven't payed that game in years

 

Chiv is like 6 Dollars on Steam right now due to the sale and GMOD is like 7 but it usually goes down to like 4 or 5 during a sale if you can afford that.
