I went onto the CQ server last night, and i really didnt have fun being blown up by campers with their claymores. Isnt it nonsense to have 4 people with bipods, all with explosive up grade, claymores down. Just wanted to let you guys know, i dont know how often others get to the cq so i thought id bring it up, thanks!

We don't have a problem with that. If you hate when that happens to you, don't play when Magnus is on. He is the queen of claymore whores!

Claymores and C4'ing are definitely a problem on the Close Quarters maps. We need to establish a rule to prevent it without seeming like drama queens.

    Example:

Last week a guy would cap a flag. C4 it, then run off somewhere. As soon as he saw the flag blinking on his minimap, meaning that someone was capping it, he would detonate the C4 and get kills. It was really lame.

Yeah but we only have problems when they put it on the flags. I though we were fine with it as long as they were away from the flag cap radius. Thats what I've been doing to get my C4 kills for the assignment.

I dont mind C4 but when you just sit in a room with 4 people all claymore, it angers me. I dont even mind claymores its just using them that way. i dont see any admins on, or people from nng for that matter.

We don't play it a ton unless it is a group of us going into the server. I personally find CQ boring and a spamfest unless
i'm playing with friends where we can call things out.

ok, seriously now... claymores and c4 are parts of the dynamic that is "close Quarters" hell your assignments are based around getting kills with specific weapons.. c4 and claymores are in that list.
next thing is gonna be what? support using too many machine guns ?

These are complaints about gameplay styles, not exploits. The small cap radius on CQ is a flaw beyond question, but its not a bug, its a design decision. I've been killed by C4 that way many times, and I adapt by grenading the flag before hand if someone starts doing it. Then I like to imagine them clicking their detonator fruitlessly and raging. Hell I've even done it to a few people. I vote not rules against it.

And don't get me started on camping. This Battlefield - where we defend points. Call it camping if you like, but its defending. If they're defending a useless room, let them sit in there with their thumbs in their asses while you cap flags and win the game.

Sweet rollerblading jesus eating a bowl of cereal! Okay, i'm not complaining about C4 or claymores, i'm complaining about people that cant play and are doing nothing else but camping with them, i love claymores, when used right that is, and C4 doesn't bother me at all, its claymore objective camping that makes me ( and from what i saw part of their team) mad! I'm not saying lay a ban hammer on them, i'm saying make a rule of claymore CAMPERS. Of course there will always be some, but it couldn't hurt could it? You dont even have to make it a kick, But it might deter a few.

Specifically to Orestes, it's not a "style" staring at a door while in the objective with 4 other guys having a claymore party, its called lack of style.
    Greatest Regards,

    P.S.
I shall now rely on the term "Nerfherder's" to describe claymore campers.
    That is all... CAMPER.jpg

I don't understand your picture, but whats the correct way to use claymores if not to defend an objective?

PS: Thanks for the image of Jesus rollerblading eating a bowl of cereal. I lol'd
