Mech Warrior: Online

That was a blast last night, definitely the more the merrier.

 

Super fun for my first night piloting a mech, and I've now decided what mech style I want to specialize in.
I plan on running mostly Battlemasters, though I can trial in a light or Timberwolf when I feel like playing something different.

 

Definitely saving up for a timbewolf, till then Ill run my firestarters for $$$

 

Oh, should we make a second thread for build advice/showing off? Or will this thread work for that?

Welp, we no need a board for Mech Warrior. xD

 

Looks like we can only have 3 of each mech fielded at any given time. I have been saving the past week to buy a Timber Wolf Prime (Heavy). I also have a Cataphract 3D (Heavy) and a Raven Huginn (Light). I have yet to find a medium I like and I dont like assaults that much. So with that being said I'll play light - heavy, preferably for now heavy or light.

Also having 7 of us on a team turned out pretty fun. I thought it was going to be a total disaster with all us noobs together, however it turns out we all synergize pretty well in a big group. Yes out skill level at the game itself might be total shit right now but what we dont lack in is teamwork and tactics.

I am also about 90k off from getting my timber wolf atm.

Blarg. If you dump fibro for endo you will get an extra 2.4 tons. Then you can max out your armor and have about 1.6 tons left over. Now if you dont mind being a little squishier you can replace the standard engine for an XL saving you even more tonage to add more ammo or weapons.

Switched up a few things as I seem to have more of a ranged playstyle with this instead of trying to get in their faces and brawl.
