This is a shoot off of the RL thread. I was thinking to myself about posting some pictures of my best little friend on the RL thread then I thought to myself, "I bets a lot of other NNG guys are animal enthusiasts and would love to share pictures of their animal friends!" SO here it is, a thread for all the animals NNG members have to offer from their home/work or wherever you find yourself with a little animal friend :) Go ahead and explain how you met, where they reside now and what your interactions with each other are... and remember pictures!

I have 2 dogs, one is Freckles (white one) and the other is Vicious aka Vici (pronounced vi-shee, the name was and is ironic to his personality and size when he was a puppy). Freckles is a mut, not sure what breeds but he is ~14 years old and he is deaf. My family got him when we moved to CT when I started High School. Vicious (Brindle one), pitbull boxer mix breed, was a Hanukkah gift from one of my Ex's, at the time I was going through a "falling out" with my circle of friends (Junior-Senior year of High School) so she got me a best friend that would never "fall out". It was a sweet gesture even though things didn't work out between us in the end, I got a new best friend.

This is my 8 year old 23lb horse-cat Scooter. His mom was a stray that had him under my parents porch, he was the only one to survive, Dad fished him out with a dip net, we took him in and he has been a part of the family ever since. He’s an odd cat, acting more like a dog than a cat: he likes to lay at my feet while gaming, Dad takes him for walks, and he will come when you call him. I don't know anything about cat breeds but whatever Scooter is a mix of, it made for a big ol’ cat. He’s chunky but he’s also bigger than most any cat I’ve seen.

Scooter lives with my folks but comes and stays with me during the summer months when they go north on vacation.

well i have a few dogs and i will post them. i have 2 pittbulls and the one that recently passed away was a poodle mix. but i'll start with smokey.i got him as a puppy from a family that rescued pitts. i know people have different opinions about pittbulls as a breed but i personally love them and see the great dog in them since they used to be called the babysitters in the old days :D but my dog is truly a sweetheart a big baby.he's really friendly with other dogs but gets scared of little ones and runs. lol he's just a overall great dog [IMG]

ERBODY!!! Meet Blake! (Excuse the filter. My friend took this and texted me the instagram version while I slept on the couch after the gamepocalypse 24 hour stream) This fucker likes to try and distract me while I play at home by trying to stand on my shoulders or head or sit on my mouse. He also likes to lay next to me and make faces at me when I wake up from a nap. I got him with his, what I assume to be daughter Jynx from my local ASPCA because fuck abusing owners and stuff.

Nyaaaaahhhhh! I make face at you!

My fur is black like the area where my heart is and nobody loves me... Just kidding, I'm trying to watch you tap your feet.

Here is Jynx. He is also from the ASPCA and I got her with Blake because I didn't want to separate the two due to how their relationship with eachother was. They were always with eachother at the shelter and when the workers tried to separate them, they would meow all night. Jynx is ironically the more skitish of the two so it's a chalange to get a picture of her but at the shelter, Blake was the skitish one and Jynx was friendly. Now Jynx will hide and make attempts at biting or scratching me unless I approach her slowly and let her sniff my hand to show her it is safe. I'm pretty sure it's because she was the more abused of the two or they were both abused generally equal and they just have different reactions. Sad panda....

Theres my toes and Jynx in my laundry from tennis all week plus towels.

What is this think, black, shiny brick in your hand? I must sniff it! AHHHHHH!!! It made a shudder noise! RUN!

Now time to meet my dogs!!!

First up is my pure breed Weimaraner, Zeus! He is almost 4 now I think and we got him because my mom thought he was so beautiful at the store and she must have him. He is relatively retarded to say the least and quite stubborn too. He tries to tell us he wants attention by trying to sit on your lap if you are in a chair or by jumping up and sitting on a chair himself. Sometimes we caught him sitting in my chair in front of my computer looking like he is playing. (I should have put my headset on him and taken a picture...) Most of the time he will try to sleep or lay down under my feet at the computer while I play or he will lay down with me. He is a loving dog and like to play outside but when I go to hit the tennis ball for him to chase, he gets close and tries to get it before the hit then manages to lose it in the grass....

Time to meet my oldest dog Lea! Lea is a pure bred yellow lab and she like to take your seat the moment you get up then look at you like "Move your feet, lost your seat bitch!" We got him back in '07, my freshman year or high school when we moved from Hawaii to New York so our pitbull terrier, Hoku, had a friend to play with. (I hope she is still playing in doggy heaven and waiting for me and my family.) Lea would be like the Loki of my family. She will try to trick anyone who hasn't been around when she was fed into feeding her and Zeus again just because noms. She also tries to get treats ALL THE TIME! Lea is the kind of dog who likes to lick you weather you just got out of the shower or you just finished rolling in a mud pit filled with disgusting matter. She tends to get annoying with that and she is also very hyper most of the day until you play with her for 30 damn seconds then its sleep forever.

She called dibs on my bed and my SpongeBob pillow when I was packing to move to my suite for school...

I had to make a second post because there is a 5 picture limit

We had a pot belly for years while growing up, Dumplin. My mom brought him home in a shoe box when i was in grade school and when he died i was in college and he weighed in every bit of 125lbs. He made for a really good pet, friendly, smart, mischievous. He liked to stay outside once he got full sized, My Folks have quite a bit of farmland so he was happy to pile up in the barn or under the apple trees when the weather was nice but slept inside during the winter. He used to go rabbit hunting with Dads beagles, you'd see Bonnie go through the field hollering, a few minutes later here would come Dumplin trailing behind. He very well saved my family one winter night when he woke us all up when the furnace caught fire and the smoke alarm didn't go off. I was nothing to put out and fix but may of got a lot worse if we hadn't been woke up in time.

I know we have a bunch of pictures of him but I dont know how many digital, I know I dont have any on my PC.
